 New Resource

The Saskatchewan Common Assessment Protocol for Intimate Partner Violence and Abuse (SK CAP; PATHS, 2026) includes Backgrounders, Practice Tools, and Practice Guides to assist generalist and intimate partner violence and abuse (IPVA) specialist services in identifying people who are using or experiencing violence, evaluating risk, and supporting victims/survivors in planning for safety.
The SK CAP is available in one PDF document; the Backgrounders, Practice Tools, and Practice Guides are also available individually.
The Saskatchewan Risk Indicator Checklist (RIC) is a fillable, online tool; completing the RIC results in an individualized risk report and Saskatchewan Safety Planning Guide.
The online, asynchronous training module accompanies the SK CAP.

This online conference is coming up. I will send more details when they come, but  I wanted to share they flyer because I think the artwork is so beautiful.  The artist's name is Julianne Denny.  “I was inspired by my Native American Church practices for this artwork – the fireplace in the morning when the sun is rising – the most sacred moment of the day when women bring in water – when the fire holds hues of blue and purple over white hot glowing charcoals – the smell of cedar burning.”

OH & S Required Education Year End Submission
The time has come to wrap up all mandatory OH&S requirements for this fiscal year.  Thank you for taking the time to complete the training modules— I know it can be challenging to complete at the end of a long day. Your effort is very much appreciated!  Please submit whatever you have completed to date. Place your completed forms in the bottom tray of the black tiered organizer in the educator workspace. Only a few forms are left to turn in. I have sent emails to those still missing. Thanks again!

Stay tuned for this years up and coming ed. requirements! I will forward the current requirements to everyone once they are received. For now, enjoy GOLD and all of the other continuing education conferences you have signed up for.  Happy learning!
